About Us
The Addiscombe, Woodside and Shirley Leisure Gardens Limited is the oldest privately managed allotment society in the country, having been on this site in the London Borough of Croydon since 1921. We have nearly 400 plots, a Trading Hut, Canteen, Hall and Wildlife Field.
Our Society is run entirely by volunteers, who contribute by:
- maintaining the grounds
- staffing our Trading Hut and Canteen
- organising social events throughout the year, including our Annual Show
- serving as Committee Members and Officers
